Beltane Weekend, Goddess House

You are invited to a celebration of Sheela Na Gig, the iconic stone figure, at Glastonbury Goddess House and Temple, Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May. We will be discussing current research, and breaking new ground to unearth Sheela in her many forms.

Explore where Sheela resides, from Norman churches to feminist art – and create new interpretations of her.

Paint a Sheela on a stone and contribute to an installation piece that will form part of
a Sheela Na Gig altar space.

Celebrating Sheela is a series of workshops, talks, performances and art. We have a Sheela shop, Red Tent and a specially created labyrinth. This event is part of the 20th anniversary celebration of Glastonbury Goddess Temple.

Workshop spaces are limited and can be booked direct with facilitators, or at Goddess House on the day. By donation.
