1. When did you dedicate as a Priestess or Priest of Avalon?

I dedicated as a Priestess of Avalon in 2015.

2. Can you describe a little of your journey to Goddess and to coming to train here in Avalon?

I was on the trail of the Goddess Cerridwen, I had been her devotee since 2003, and wanted to see how the Avalon Priestess community worked with Her. I first circled the seasonal ceremonies for two years, never thought to actually doing the training because I was living in Wales and the money for training was not available. I was dreaming of going though and prayed each day that She would send me the abundance to go, become a Priestess. Then one day…She made it happen.

3. In your daily life, what does being a Priestess or Priest of the Goddess mean to you?

My whole life and that of my family, is dedicated to the temple. It’s our bliss. Serving the local community and the visitors from around the world who come to Avalon seeking connection with Goddess, is the best ‘joy’ in the world. Being deeply immersed in the love of Goddess on the land where She dwells is a gift for which I’m very grateful.

4. How does working with the energies of the Lady of Avalon impact your life?

She suffuses everything I do. Her presence in my heart gives me peace. She gives me inspiration for new projects and fuels my creativity. She heals me, comforts me, gives me courage and strengthens my resolve. I love my life in Avalon, I love my fellow Priestesses, the community we are building together and the sisterhood we experience every day.

5. In what ways do you serve now in the Glastonbury Goddess Temple community?

I am a Melissa in the Temple once a week, or more if needed, I am a Healer in Goddess House for the last 2 1/2 years and before I served as an administrator when the house first opened. I’m a Temple Weaver, a seasonal Ceremonialist for the temple ceremonies. I take visitors to the sacred places in and around Avalon and create special rituals for them. I am a Goddess Temple Teacher, having conceived the Priestess of Cerridwen training. The Cerridwen Priestesses have also held the monthly Dark Moon Rituals for the last 2 ½ years in the temple.

6. What do you think makes our Goddess Temple community so special?

The extraordinarily talented and dedicated Priestesses and Priests that have flowed into Avalon, having been called there by the Lady of Avalon, to be pathfinders for Her return into the world at this time. The vision, the hard work, the devotion of all who serve Her in Avalon, and in the world, is what makes our community special.
