The Magician and the Fool

Taster Day in Glastonbury: Saturday 29th August 2026
This taster offers participants a unique experience of Spiral One from the Avalon Tarot Priestess course, run through Glastonbury Goddess Temple Teachings. The course, taught by Katie Player, Priestess of Avalon, Ceremonialist, Soul Healer and Tarot Reader, is an experiential and fun way to go deeper with, and learn, the Tarot.
We will be focusing on two key Major Arcana cards – The Fool and The Magician. The day will have a mixture of sharing, discussion, exercises, connecting with the energies of the tarot and your intuition, and getting to know Katie. It is an opportunity to experience life as a student and ask any questions you may have about the course.

Way of the Wild Shamanka

On this First Spiral training we’ll spend a series of seven weekends over nine months dropping into our wild soul essence, connecting with our souls, each other, the elements and Goddess archetypes.
We will explore the Avalonian and ancient sacred landscapes of our Brythonic Proto-Celtic Ancestors. We’ll visit sacred sites to drum / journey and honour the land and connect with our ancestors. We’ll connect with our wild soul ancestors and discover who is stepping forward to be your guide/s and power creatures. We’ll discover the gifts and skills that you are ready to embrace and develop. We’ll examine the blocks that stop you and discover your shadow powers.

Avalon Tarot Priestess

Have you ever wanted to learn to read the Tarot? In this practice-based course Katie will help you learn how to interpret the 78 Major and Minor Arcana cards of the Tarot deck and will teach how to weave them together into a Reading.
We will learn how to connect more deeply to our intuition, and to the cards. We’ll use creative ways to explore the 22 Major Arcana cards, and the four suits of the Minor Arcana, through story, colour and pattern. It will be experiential and fun!
Sacred Grief Ceremonialist Training

26th – 30th October 2026
IPHM Accredited
The training is led by Priestess of Avalon and experienced Ceremonialist Dawn Kinsella, in Glastonbury, Somerset. This is an intensive, Goddess-centred course of the Goddesses Cerridwen and Danu on the Avalonian wheel. The training is designed for women only who are dedicated to holding sacred grief ceremonial and one- to- one grief transition work.
Priestess of Avalon

In ancient times the role of a Priestess or Priest of the Goddess was recognized as a Sacred Calling, a life lived in service to Goddess within one of Her Sacred Temples, found all around the world in many different cultures. The majority of those Goddess Temples were destroyed when patriarchal forces took over the world thousands of years ago.
Thankfully Goddess is returning to our awareness. She is once again being recognised as Divine Source and Great Mother of All. Many women and some men are beginning to re-member and re-claim an ancient path of devotion and service to Goddess. Communities and Temples of Goddess are being built anew in Her world, allowing people to come together to learn who Goddess is, to celebrate Her, to recreate Her Sacred Sanctuaries and to experience Her wonderful loving nature.
Morgen Priestess Training

Women’s Ritual Dances

Traditional Women’s Circle Dances from Greece, the Balkans and Armenia
27th – 28th February 2027
Women of rural Eastern Europe have preserved their ritual circle dances into the present day, continuing a living lineage of authentic priestess traditions. The roots of these dances go back thousands of years to indigenous Old Europe, embodying a pre-patriarchal worldview of reverence for Mother Earth and the Goddess. The dances strengthen community, heal trauma, and celebrate life, within a culture of peace.
As we dance, by bringing our awareness to the symbols encoded within the steps and patterns, we can decipher the hidden wisdom of the grandmothers and receive the gifts they offer to women today.
